I've been helping black women bring back the glow for over 12 years.

Before starting Sun People Beauty, I started my own mineral cosmetics line "Nique Cosmetics/Lady Minerals" back in 2009- helping women of color in their 40's and 50's find their perfect foundation shade. 

Women would come to me because they wanted to cover and camouflage their skin while maintaining a youthful appearance. 

But what I noticed time and time again was a lack of a good skincare regimen.

Most of the time, if they'd upgrade their skincare, I knew their skin would improve 100-fold. 

I also knew that this was easier said than done because the product options for black women with mature skin were non-existent. 

But creating a skincare line seemed as possible as going to the moon. So, I never pursued it. 

Fast forward 10 years later, I'm a Beauty Advisor for a major department store and little has changed. 

Sun People Beauty has created a full-circle moment for me, as I have dreamed of this FOR YEARS. I've accomplished something that I didn't believe was possible...and I LOVE doing it.

I am committed to the skincare needs of mature melanin and helping black women bring back the glow.
